6:21 a.m. When you or I distill hash oil from cannabis via forced butane injection, we do so sensibly in a well-ventilated area. But not this trailer park resident, whose gas-engorged mobile home went ka-boom. As police and fire personnel dealt with the leveled, smoldering ruin, an elderly neighbor had a heart attack.

1:46 p.m. Marijuana's popularity has spread even to that bastion of wholesomeness, the garbage-strewn, graffiti-splattered wasteland along the train tracks 'twixt the storage yard and the old lumber mill. There, two groups of eight or so leisure lurkers passed pipes, quaffed beers and maintained a perpetual state of near-total mental and physical debilitation while trading unverifiable anecdotes and folklore about how the Man is keeping them down. Police visited but found nothing amiss, which isn't surprising since the location features only two approaches along the train tracks, both of which afford a great and timely view of any approaching gendarmes.

11:58 p.m. It first appeared to be a bucket of little liquor bottles which the hooded figure had stolen from a Northtown market, running off on the slogan-slathered footbridge over the freeway. But the store called back saying only bubble gum had been taken, and never mind.

Dink Smallwood

The free game I spent the most time with. Really great fantasy adenture of the "old" Zelda - style. It's also a quite good duck killing simulation. ;-)

Help a pig farmer rescue the world. Add to that classic plot a fair amount of strange and weird humor you have hours and hours of fun ahead of you. And when you have finished the game you can always try one of the many DMOD's to play another one from the Dink Network.
