Some Odd And Maybe Sometimes Some Not So Odd Stuff.

[Pic:UF] In my opinion the best and geekiest comic strip in existence.

Join the staff of Columbia Internet in their daily fight against customers, people who want to regulate the internet and the marketing - people. And don't be surprised if they head off to save the galaxy, program a paper clip-buddy for VI or take a commando team into Microsoft Headquarters.

(Note: A request for an Interview with one of their staff was unfortunately declined with the words "Nyet, No Camera". So you have to go see for yourself.)

Space Rat

[Pic:SR] Many Years ago, in the age of the C64 and the Amiga, in a little Software - Mag called "ASM", a comic called "Space Rat" came to live. And when this golden age ended, it also vanished. But a while back it had a revival in the internet, and in fall 2002 a new book will even come out.

Ziggy Spacerat and his sidekick Stevie Lucas roam the galaxy, trying to make a living as merchants / pirates / headhunters or searching for ancient treasures.

That of course makes hungry, so they regularly join some friends in the "RIP-IN Warp Food" eatery. Where occasionally, one guest will be served as the main course for another guest. It all depends on who places their order first. And having the galaxy's most dangerous cyborg as a waiter sure brings down customer complaints.

Dilbert

[Pic:Dillbert] Well, nothing much to explain. If you don't know him, you're not really allowed on the net anyway.

A constant battle between the folks who do the work and take the blame if something goes wrong on one hand, and the people who get the credit if something goes right on the other. Sounds familiar somehow.

Alice

[Pic:Alice] Forsooth! Methinks yon lass hath a screw loose.

The problems and joys of having way to much fantasy in a way to normal world. But who cares, when reality is just an annoying little detail ?
